This scale evaluates five specific domains covering motor function, sensory loss, balance qualities, joint range of motion, and joint pain levels to ensure nothing is missed. Clinicians score items on a three point ordinal scale where zero means the patient cannot do the task and two means they do it fully. The total maximum score sits at 226, though the motor section is often used alone with a max of 100 points.
