Frequently asked questions about white-labeling
Common questions about branding, deployment, and custom features for your patient app.
Contact usWhat is a white label app?
Think of a white label app as our software dressed up in your brand's clothes. Instead of your patients seeing our logos and colours, they see yours. It is a way for you to give your community a familiar and trusted mobile app that feels like it was built just for your organisation, without you having to build the technology from scratch.
How can I get my own medical app?
Getting your own branded app is a straightforward process. You start by sharing your brand guidelines and logos with us. We then set up the software to match your look and feel. Once you have your developer accounts ready, we take care of the heavy lifting by getting the app onto the Apple and Google stores for you.
Can patients find my app under my own name?
Yes, they certainly can. When your patients search the app stores, they will find your app under your organisation's name. It won't be tucked away inside another app. This makes it much easier for people to find and download the right tool for their health journey.
What parts of the app design can I change?
You can change quite a lot to make it feel like home. This includes your app icon, the splash screens that show up when it loads, and the welcome screens that greet your patients. We make sure the whole colour scheme and all the imagery line up with how your brand looks in the real world.
Can I choose which features my patients see?
We know every project is a bit different, so you can turn different parts of the app on or off. If you only want people to join by invitation, we can set that up. Or if you want a public sign up process, we can do that too. You get to decide which bits of the kit make the most sense for your goals.
Am I able to change the words used in the app?
We want the app to speak the same language as your team. You can rename the main sections to suit your work. If "Tasks" sounds a bit too formal, you can call it a "Care plan" instead. It is all about making the app feel right for the people using it every day.
Does the app work in different languages?
It does. If you are looking after people from all sorts of backgrounds, you can set the app up to work in multiple languages. This is a big help for making sure everyone feels included and can understand their health information clearly.
Is the app secure for my patients?
Keeping health data safe is a top priority for us. We have built in several layers of protection, including the option for patients to use a simple 4 or 6 digit PIN. If they ever forget it, they can reset it quickly through a secure message or email.
Do I need to set up my own store accounts?
Yes, you will need to have your own Apple and Google developer accounts. This is what allows the app to be listed under your name instead of ours. It is a bit of paperwork, but our team is happy to walk you through it so you don't get stuck.
